I have been photographing since completing my B.A. in Comparative Literature (U.C. Berkeley, 1991).

In 1998, I completed an A.A.A. degree in Commercial Photography at the Art Institute of Seattle--feeling myself closer, however, to the concerns of fine art photography and having an enthusiasm for the possibilities of the digital darkroom.

I have not yet exhibited my work, and feel that now is the time to exhibit what I have created during the last seven years—since originally obtaining a digital camera while living and working in The Netherlands.

The work I have created during this time has reached a conclusion. Going forward, I wish to create more planned, thematic photographs.

I am an idea person. I hope that—by exhibiting my current work in a gallery—I will feel confident to execute my many ideas and create a new body of work.

My web site’s name, Productions of Time, comes from William Blake’s “Proverbs of Hell” (“Eternity is in love with the productions of time.”) and expresses my feeling of kinship with the artists of the Romantic period. However, the visual artists who have inspired me the most are those of the twentieth century.

I eagerly seek a relationship with a gallery at this time! Please click the “Contact” link to send me email or get my phone number.
