Process and Materials
I output all digital files to the Epson Stylus Pro 9800 ink jet with Epson Ultrachrome K3 inks on Epson Premium Glossy photo paper. Epson publishes print permanence ratings and other technical specifications at their web site (http://www.epson.com).
I mount the prints on Canson museum board using Lineco archival adhesive. For backing to the mat board, I use Canson archival foam board. All the mounting materials are archival quality.
The larger prints I mount onto 8 ply museum board (with an overlay window cut into 8 ply museum board, too). The smaller prints I mount onto 4 ply museum board (with a 4 ply overlay museum board).
The mounted prints are in black metal Nielsen frames, with True Vue glass. Some of the True Vue glass is museum quality—depending on the size of the framed piece.
Please note: not all of the photographs on this web site are currently available mounted and framed. The text in the upper right corner of each photograph in the slideshow indicates if a print is available framed (and also the size of the image and the size of the frame). |
